SLICK was using a quart between oil changes which started at about 54K miles. I was using AMSOIL 10W/30 switched back to Mobil1 same weight and OC quit. Oil pressure is slightly less by 2 or 3 lbs at hot idle but I'll take that over using oil. I check my oil level at least once a week due to OCD...Gary

I;'ve had mine for 7, and put over 150K on it. Other than the OC, it's been pretty reliable and hasn't left me stranded ever. So i figure if i can get 1-2 more years out of it, that would be great.

After all, whats my car worth now? Every option 06x...maybe $5-6K with 150K miles? If it had 175-200K miles, what would it be worth then? $4K A payment on a G37x for me would be $400ish so 2 years of that is almost $10K. Financially, it makes sense to keep adding oil.

I'm planning on selling and moving next year, so i don't want a car payment when I apply for a mortgage. After that, it's 2011+ G37x/Q40 time. The prices on those will be lower anyway.
