whats the weak link?

In a g35x where is the bottleneck when trying to add power? I'm trying to plan out my mods so money can be set aside for them to be done at one time. I've seen some powerful awd cars, but I haven't seen too many g35x's. Is it the transmission or the transfer case? Thank you!

All at once?!? You don't want to buy one then install the part?

Maybe I would split up the work, and I'm still not even sire of what exactly I want tp do. I just don't know the breaking point. I really like the tt greddy but Idk if that's going to just kill the engine.

Well, you can always do the normal bolt ons 1st. breather mods are important. You don't need to get the intakes since your going to do the TT set up. exhaust, HFC/TP, plenum spacer (if you have the DE), Headers. Maybe light weight pulley and CF driveshaft to free up HP. You might want to save up a lot to rebuild your engine. your rod will be the 1st to go. TT is not so merciful on the car. But your set up will be fun to drive. A few ppl have blown there engines and started to rebuild them for better parts rods, pistons and bearings. At that point you can add cams for better gains in HP since your doing all that work. All this will be very pricy.

Yeah I'm not sold on tt cause I want my engine alive in a few years. But supercharger seem to be less stressful

The limiting factor will be the AWD trans as there is not much support(if any) for it. I have not seen any options for strengthening it.

I heard if I want a crap ton of power the torque converter is what to upgrade. I would have no idea what to do for it though. Also I've seen flywheel, but Idk if that will actually strengthen anything

there is no flywheel on an auto. you can probably change the torque converter but the weak link is the clutch packs which are limited by their small size/surface area, so you can upgrade everything else but it will slip and won't hold high power. There is no way around that physical limitation.
