Engine harness question PLEASE HELP
Engine harness question PLEASE HELP
I have a 06 AT sedan that I blew the motor on I bought a motor from a guy who pulled it from his wreaked 04 AT coupe
when I was looking at it yesterday I noticed that it had 3 extra connectors on the part of the harness that goes inside the car that my harness does not have I had him leave the harness on because I damaged mine when I was pulling out the motor and I planned on using the one from the 04 coupe
does anyone know what the difference between the two motors is?
do i need to just use a harness from a 06 sedan? I thought it was a direct plug and play

It's best if you use the harness from your 06. There were a handful of revisions, especially with the sedans for some reason. Most notable being the 03.5 and 04.5 versions. Engine should be the same, but you made need to swap over various sensors, etc from your 06. Sorry for not knowing specifics, but if the connectors are different, then that's a big flag to reuse your 06 harness.
