Question Radiator Cap???

Hello Everyone

About two weeks or so i have noticed coolant around area of my Radiator Cap, not to make a big deal replaced it with a new OEM that i had purchased couple years ago along with some other misc parts. Well all happy that i had fixed the problem took my 04G for a spin after driving for 15-20 min i have noticed coolant smell. Well remaining coolant was burning off i figured. But to make long story short came back home poped open the hood and to my amazement my front of the engine was coverent with coolant. WOW!!! my question to you guys bad radiator cap or blown head gasket. I use this car only on weekends not as my daily driver 2004 with 84k on it. Any ideas?

Could be a hose, turn the car on and inspect around the radiator, follow each hose to its end

If hoses check out look closely at the radiator, with that much fluid should be easy to see! Mine lasted less than 55K miles...Gary

Ok so i did check the hoses and let the engine reach its operating temp, what i have noticed is that smoke was comming out from underneeth the cap, no movement in the overflow tank. Although i have no heat. Upper hose hot, lower hose warm but not so hot. Also i have oppened the radiator cap when the engine was running to see if i have any bubbles but no. As soon it started to flow over i had to shut down the engine due to overflow issues. Guys any ideas?

Its probably a hairline crack around the filler neck. That's where they break a lot. Gotta rent a pressure test thing from a parts place and test the rad and cap. Its a free rental and will tell you all you need to know.
