03 Sedan E-Fan Conversion

So my mechanical belt-driven fan got into a fight with a large cat and I've now decided to go the electrical way. I have everything ordered except for the belts. I am just making sure here, but there is absolutely no reason to replace the fan bracket and get a new pulley on there, correct? I should just be able to use the bracket right now as a spacer and then just measure out some new belts, right? Finding information on this seems to be hard unless its regarding the temperatures to turn on fans.
Thanks in advance!

E-fan conversion is simple. once you remove the stock fan/clutch assembly the pulley becomes an idler pulley essentially.

There are many ways to wire these up, and many different types of fans. What information are you needing?

Thanks for the reply. The stock fan/clutch assembly is kind of messed up right now. The fan is broken, the pulley is bent, the shaft is bent. Do I really even need to keep the bracket mounted on there? I know that the passenger side part of the bracket is used as a spacer to another bracket, which I can get around. But can I just measure out different belts and eliminate that sucker all together? I'd rather not replace it just to not even get used (more or less).

As for the wiring, I think I'll be good there. I got the Imperial 226204 that others have used and a couple slim 10" electrics.
