Unknown wire hanging near oil filter

I was replacing my oil filter for the 3rd time since I've had my 5at 04 g35 and when I was doing it I noticed a wire that was hanging. I was in a rush and needed to leave so I couldnt investigate as much as I wanted to, but I was able to grab a picture. The wire is only about 3-5 inches long as I could see where it was plugging into.

Anyone know what the heck this is? Also it looks like it was forcefully pulled off. I dont know how long its been like that, but Ive had the car for about 6 months now with absolutely no issues...even with this wiring like that right now it still drives just fine.

As a reference of its location its in between the passenger wheel well and the oil filter.

If it was by the oil filter odds are it's probably the oil pressure sensor. Do you have check engine lights on?
