Checking the engine today, I found this weird cable, never see that before. It's on the Intake area, and see nothing near to it where it can be inserted.
I believe that's the ground for your driver's side O2 sensor. It slips onto a flat piece of metal attached to the body... on or around the shock tower. That sensor isn't going to work right with that ground strap disconnected.
If you can't find it than just take a flat blade connector and short piece of wire and make a connection to ground.
