04 g35 auto transmission
ok so I'm in a bit of a dilemma here I'm stranded 1400 miles from home now while idling my car suddenly began to run rough and died everyone screamed cam sensors so i replaced both cam sensors which I knew changed nothing. now begins the new problem cylinder 5 coil is heating up to the point of melting all I have to do is plug in the coil not even on the spark plug (holding it in my hand) and it immediately starts to heat up and start smoking if left plugged in. now im thinking this could be a pcm problem as the coils are tied directly into the pcm itself and do not go through the fuse box. suspicion is maybe the resister is burned out and pcm is bad whats the verdict guys could really use some help here.
