hmmm...in my AEM install manual, it said the the harness should be pointing to the oil cap...so whats wrong??

The MAF should have been put back on the same direction and orientation that it was when you removed it for the CAI install. If you reversed or twisted the MAF according to AEM's instructions, that could be your problem. When I installed my Z-Tube and Stillen CAI, I was very careful to put the MAF back just the way it was. I haven't had any CEL's at all. Just a thought. Can't imagine that AEM's instructions were incorrect...
