G35 engine cuts off
Hello, I am new to this forum but I have been browsing it since I've owned my coupe for advice and DIY. Today I was hoping someone could help diagnose an issue occurring with my g35.
For about 2 months, every time I drive around the car for ~10 miles, it will completely shut off when decelerating or at a red light. I am able to turn it back on but it takes noticeably longer. The car then shifts erratically (too fast or too slow) along with the tach bouncing slightly, and the car shakes while at a red light with high idle of ~900rpm No A/C. Once I let the car sit for a few hours or overnight it turns back on and drives like normal. An important point is that this situation occurs everytime I drive around town over 10 miles. Ive noticed if I only drive short distances, Ex. the store and back, the problem won't occur and the car drives normal. Thank you for reading.
History
-2006 AT G35 coupe with basic MD spacer and K&N Filter.
-8 month old transmission and torque converter
-Cleaned TB without touching valve 5 month ago, and cleaned MAF 2 months ago, fresh gas, normal oil
-No codes shown when taken to dealer
-Battery was checked and shown to be slightly below normal voltage, ~2 years old
