Problem with A/C. Any ideas?

Hello community,

So I've been having some problems with my a/c and heater for a while now. Its scorching hot out here so its about that time. I don't want to take it to the dealership or mechanic if I don't have too. Or if i can atleast diagnose it. So any help would be appreciated.

Right now the heater or the a/c does not blow out any air at all. When I turn on the a/c ill hear a tick in the engine and then the fan in the engine will start to blow/rumble loud but still no air. Any ideas what this can be?

Thanks

^ so I contract a buddy to search the internet for a solution while I trouble shoot the factory service manual for the Nissan recommended fix.

Here is a link to that: http://psedog.com/cars/fsm/g35/

Check the blower motor as recommended by the FSM, but more then likely this is your problem. See how gnarly mine was...

Had to replace the blower motor in my first Accord, nightmare getting it out of the donor car at the wrecking yard. Hopefully these cars aren't so bad.

Most likely the blower motor
Have you checked out the FSM?

Think about changing the inner cabin filter, this is the AC blower!

Correct, had to drop the lower glove box to access this. Quite a lot of bolts, but car smells much nicer now.

yeah, mine is pretty much the same. AC or heater doesn't blow air. I would have to run engine for a long time and then shut off engine and then start up again. Sometimes have to do this 4-7 times and feel it would ruin my starter. What is the true solution? Please help
