Hi all,
I have just bought a G35 with 107k miles. The car is pretty clean and the only issue is it has leaks from the valve cover. I do not see any drop on my drive way but i see oil residue on the valve cover bolts.

So I decided to call the dealer to ask about how much it would cost me to have them replaced the valve cover gasket. And the price made me

Then I decided to do it myself. these are the job and parts that I think I'm gonna need:

1. Replace valve cover gasket, spark plug and PCV valve:
- 2 valve cover gasket (of course ) Part numbers: 13270-8J102 and 13270-8J112
- 1 plenum gasket. P/N: 14032-AM600
- PCV valve: P/N: 11810-8J102 (I'll bought the rubber also, P/N 11812-6N200). Could anyone tell me the size of the socket to remove the PCV valve? thanks.
- 6 Spark plugs PLFR5A-11 (P/N :22401-5M015 ngk 6240)

2. Drain and refill Transmission fluid:
- Okay here I am confused. Should I use Matic S or stick with Matic J ? since infinitipartdeals offer both of them. But the Matic J is a little more expensive. ? I think I will need 11 quart for 2 times drain and refill.
- Replace the washer, which is the same as the engine oil plug washer (P/N: 11026-JA00A).

3. Replace the Transfer case fluid
- My G35 is a rwd, not G35x. I don't really know what transfer case is. And I thought it only appears on G35x. Am I right? Please anyone tell me please.

4. Replace Diff fluid
- the manual said it should meet API GL-5, Viscosity SAE 80W-90 *6. I think I'll go grap some at walmart (I think 2 quart is enough)
- and replace the 2 washer: P/N: 11026-4N200

And that's it. I had replaced the rear valve cover gasket of 07 Nissan maxima. then I think this G35 is not much difference.

Is there any thing that I missed?
Could you guys give me some advices to do those jobs?

Thank you very much
