Is my engine blown? (video)

Hi,

2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe - 114k

I've been doing a lot of long distance driving...It sounds nasty.

If its a rod - what are my options? (from least expensive)

Thank you to all who watch, comment and advise!

ummm well that sounds bad. if it is a rod or piston you will need an engine rebuild or a new one. prob cheaper to get a used motor.

It could be a busted valve, but I think it's wrist pin knock. In any event, don't drive it but on the flat bed to carry it to a mechanic.

Unfortunately, Not yet. I've left it in the driveway since I posted this. Going on vacation so haven't been able to deal with it. 🙈

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I truly believe that's rod knock despite the suggestions my esteemed colleagues have offered. I've heard several (sad I know) G's in person with this exact noise and it was RK every time. If the motor's dead unless your building a non-stock motor it's cheaper to buy a used one.
