G35 fuel filter

As to me was told and read one old thread that g35 fuel filter is non serviceable, thus meaning it lasts lifetime of a car. Fuel pump neither is seviceable, but in 125000 miles is the end of the pump sometimes earlier. last 2 cars the pump started make noise in more-less 125000 miles, first was Nissan maxima 3.0 A32 and second is G35 2006. So wiseguys who claim it lasts lifetime of a car is plainly mistaken. Also if drive lifetime of fuel filter it will kill your spark plugs much faster then usually. i just recently discovered that my car has fuel filter and it should be replaced by time especcially after 100k.

I traded in my 06 G35 6 speed manual at 171796 miles. Never had a fuel pump or fuel filter problem

And by the way I see here mentioning several g35 owners have repl. their fuel filter already at 50k miles and 65k miles!?
By the way Telcoman I did not not know how your car was driving, the fact that you were driving 171k miles, it does not mean it is top shape.

No where in our service manual does it recommend changing the fuel filter! If the fuel pump has issues then replace it like everything else that wears out! NBFD

I think in coupe you cannot replace FUEL FILTER AND NEITHER THE PUMP. Cause it is in one unit. But in sedan it can be replaced and as somebody said it is not serviceable, it means should be changed
if there aroses need for it. In coupe if pump starts make noise you replace like one unit but in sedan you can change pump separately and filter. And by time the filter gets dirty, there are plenty of examples about it. If your car tank is dirty then is also your filter dirty.

Also , it there is no need to replace it, why Infiniti web-shop sales the filter separately, for example discountinfinitiparts.com?

Like Gary said why replace it if it's not bad, that's horrible advice. Following that train of thought why not just go ahead and replace every part on your car now because it "might" go bad, smh.

He's a long time member who's respected on here for his knowledge and maturity so I'm pretty sure his car is well maintained. No need for you to be a d!ck.

My vehicle was in top running shape and ran perfectly. It not only had the original fuel pump and filter but the original clutch, starter, alternator and all other OEM parts. Plugs were replaced at 106k miles.
It had 53 oil and filter changes 48 of which were done by me. No wasting money on synthetic oil or premium fuel.
I don't mind spending a little more on having a dealer do all needed repairs because any work that was done has always been done correctly the first time and I get a free loaner when necessary.

It needed its second set of brakes replaced, drivers side headlight ballast, and a leaking differential seal and tires.
I do not spend money on ridiculous and unneeded repairs such as replacing a fuel filter at 50k miles or replacing manual transmission fluid.

I decided not to spend the money on repairs and traded it in for my current 2012 G37S.
I'm glad that I did.
Perhaps someone out there bought it at auction because that is where the dealer sent it.

On my current 2012 G37S I decided to no longer do oil changes and the twenty oil changes thus far have all been done at my local dealer. They also wash and vacuum and return my vehicle cleaner than when I left it.

G35 fuel filter

G35 owners who live in country where fuel quality is disastarous change fuel filter very often. for example one G35 owner from Georgia(not USA) Georgia is located near Armenia, has done it several times.
