Ses code c1109
Hey Yall!
Earlier this year, I purchased an 04 G35 Coupe 6MT. Love the car. Recently after purchasing it, however, my SES (Service Engine Soon) light came on. I thought since it was due for an oil change, this light was simply like my old Acura's "Maintenance required" light. I changed the oil and filter, but then it ended up misfiring due to a burnt up crummy coil pack that the PO purchased. Got that fixed, reset the ECU of course, and then the SES came back on. I also have the airbag light blinking at me and the little "!" beside it. I believe these situations might be unrelated to my current SES codes, but I thought I would provide as much context as possible. So here are my new codes, according to O'reillys:
1. C1109. The people at Oreillys believed this code was causing the others (as in false codes). They said this meant "Battery voltage abnormal", so I cleaned the battery with the kit they sold me, but the code came back. One guy at Oreillys noticed my battery was below normal CCA (490) for this car, but I hadn't looked into that. It has never not started, but it does seem to take a little longer than normal to start sometimes. When I spoke with the Infiniti dealership, they said something like this code means "ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) power voltage is too low." Of course, they "didn't have much experience with that code" and would need to look at it, starting at $160.
2. B1049 (Airbag) - must be related to flashing light on dash.
3. B1054
4. P0420
5. P0430
6. P0550
7. P0137
Again, the main code in question here is C1109, since the perception is that this one is causing the other codes. I just thought I'd list all of them to provide the most context. I appreciate in advance any help that can be provided!

Our electrical systems can be a little tricky and when batteries start to wear out they can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins. The best way to test a battery is with a hydrometer, you can find them just about anywhere. https://www.searchlock.com/search?sa...battery+tester
You can take it to a local auto parts store to have it tested but their test might not be super accurate. I'd start there and definitely Google for additional help.

Yes, C1109 is the only code right now. I had C1107 Front right abs sensor code before two weeks ago, my dash was like a christmas tree. But when I just bought a abs sensor, the C1107 is gone and never came back again. I just bought the car, there was some body control module code like C1708 C1710 C1711 if that relate.
