2008 G35 stalling out!
2008 G35 stalling out!
2008 Infiniti G35S stalling and sometimes going dead when at a stop and then with light acceleration. Have replaced Mass Airflow Sensor and cleaned throttle. No warning lights on! No diagnostic codes! What should I do next???
was there any past codes? if its stalling it should trip a code unless its related to a slightly dirt MAF/IAT sensor but you said you cleaned it. is there any way you can see live data such as your alphas for bank 1 and 2 also your maf reading and af sensor readings
Try the other recalibration processes including the ECU reset (which sometimes takes multiple attempts), also, when cleaning the throttle body did you work the butterfly by hand? The motor can be damaged by doing so. Also, with motor turned off and the ignition in the on position, look inside the throttle body (intake pipe removed obviously) while someone else works the gas pedal, make sure the butterfly is opening/closing properly).

If that doesn't work, even if you've already done so check thoroughly for vacuum leaks, take apart the plastic intake part and check the corrugations for cracks, check where the clamps go around it for cracks, remove pcv hoses and check undersides of it for leaks/cracks/etc. Use throttle body cleaner LIGHTLY!!!! (put a rag under the area so it doesn't make a mess) around the upper/lower plenum gasket and throttle body to plenum, if it's sucking the TB cleaner your rpm's will drop slightly.
