Swap question.

I have an 03 sedan. I need a motor. My buddy has an 07 non revup/hr complete vq35de motor. Will it drop in and plug up? Ive seen various swaps and info and i cnt find a direct yes or no.

So his must be an automatic transmission coupe right? I think that's the only configuration to use the VQ35DE non-revup for 2007. If that's the case then yes the engine would swap but I think there's a harness issue if yours has the early '03 ECU. Can't remember the details, but I think it was the oil pressure sensor. Also be sure to snag your flex plate adaptor from the back of the old motor in case there isn't one on the new motor.

I'd keep the intake plenum/injectors/harness/TB/coils/etc off the original motor just to be safe but the long block is the same.
