Need recommendations for a ring gear stopper

Anyone used an inexpensive one that worked good on the VQ35DE? Neighbor convinced me to help him put an aluminum UD pulley on his car and it's a 5AT model and I really don't want to strap the pulley because I'm worried I might bend it.

Don't exactly want to drop $200 on the Nissan ring gear stopper J44716 either and the other ones I have don't fit properly on the VQ.

I'm not going to piston stop with string or block the pulley or any other wonkiness so I don't need all those other recommendations either please. It's a 5AT so I can't just leave it in gear unfortunately and I'm not going to just impact it on 90 degrees either so...

Any first-hand advice on tools would be greatly appreciated though.

In case anyone ever digs up this thread I did find an aftermarket ring gear puller, Stallion ST-301 sold by Freedom Racing, it's $50 cheaper than the OEM Nissan puller, as far as I'm aware those are LITERALLY the only two options for ring gear stoppers for the VQ35DE.
