Exclamation Whine when pressing down throttle.

Basically, this has happened with both of my cars. I had an 04 Z that did this and now my 04 G is doing this.. Whenever I press down the gas after a certain RPM is hit, it whines, and theres a delay in throttle response. Its very slight but its there. Cant get a video of it, but I did find one online of what it sounds exactly like.

This only happens after 3.5k rpm and goes away after hitting about 4.7/5k

The whine sound is just the sound of a timing chain. However if your engine sounds like that one then it's only running on 5 cylinders.

A delay on throttle is almost always a vacuum leak.

Def. not a misfire. Ive had to deal with that before on my Z... not fun, Head Gasket leaked oil onto my coil packs and messed up everything!

Timing chain sounds about right, thank you for your answer!
