Engine, Transmission, and other parts weights

I have a few projects going that I want to keep the weight down. So I have been weighing different engines and transmissions with supporting parts. I thought this may be useful to others down the road so I am going to keep this updated as I weigh stuff in the shop.

Engines
VQ37VHR assembled short block (Block,pistons,rods,bearings) 140 LBS
VQ37VHR driver side head 45.4 LBS
VQ37VHR pass side head 42.8 LBS

VQ37VHR AWD oil pans with through axle 19.6 LBS (includes steel pan)

VQ35DE long block minus oil pans (Engine,Heads,Valve covers,lower intake,Balancer) 300 LBS

VQ35DE AWD oil pans with through axle 24.4 LBS (includes steel pan)

Transmissions

RE5R05A RWD + TQ converter (08' G37 coupe) 180LBS

JR710E AWD + TQ converter (09' G37x sedan) 255 LBS

Other stuff
VQ37VHR shorty tube headers with shields 8 LBS each

VQ37 cat pipes 10.6 LBS each

Front AWD carrier 31 LBS

VQ35HR - VQ37VHR starter 7 LBS
