Question Gtech Pro

Anyone using the Gtech Pro having problems with RPM readings. I found that the readings get progressively worse with more accessories that are on.

For example, it reads pretty well with headlights on, but with the heater also on the readings become very erratic.

I tried calibrating it with the heater and lights on, but it didn't seem to like that at all. Couldn't get it to calibrate.

Anyone else having similar problems?

It always jumped for me however after doing a few runs no more jump... go figure

on another note... perhaps a grounding kit would help ?

I've got a grounding kit. I was kinda thinking that it could be the problem. I mean it's supposed to reduce electrical noise right?

I didnt have problems at first, but ive noticed the RPMS jump around like up/down even when accelerating....i know the damn suction cup has failed a few times in the winter causing the thing to fly off the windshield...but who knows, i also have a grounding kit, but why then did i not have these probs in the beginning?

I may try wiring it to the alternator this weekend to see if it can pick up the engine noise better. I'll let you know what happens.
