HELP ! Overheating !
HELP ! Overheating !
Just bought it, has some over heating issue. I thought the thermostat was bad because the bottom radiator hose was a lot cooler than the upper, well turns out it wasn’t bad. I’ve tried lifted the front end to bleed the air out. Still have no heat at idle, no leaks that I can see, no smoke or coolant in the oil.
the only thing I can think of is maybe it’s the water pump going bad but it was replaced last year along with radiator/fans and cap.

I fixed something close to this 3-4 days ago, I know you mentioned bleeding the thing but I got my car to operating temp, opened the bleeder valve then turned heat up to full blast with no AC and lots of bubbles came out and it made one hell of a mess. I did rev it up to 3k after with the valve closed. I have no idea why my car started overheating but it did it out of nowhere so that’s how I fixed My problem at least though in the messiest and laziest manner… watch other videos though that will explain the Proper way to do it because I thought my water pump was screwed but it’s ok for now

Also don’t quote me on this. This guy mentioned that if you have heat on full blast but No heat then it probably is your water pump, not sure how this stuff works but there you go…
