Valve Cover rear hose routing
Valve Cover rear hose routing
Hey guys. New here and new to working on this specific motor. Have had a huge oil leak, so I just replaced the valve covers. I failed to take any picture and cant seem to figure out the hose on the drivers side rear of the valve cover. I left it connected to the valve cover when I removed it, so I've replaced it on the new cover but cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes to. Can someone guide me in the right direction? Thanks!
That's why I couldn't find it, because it wasn't on the car yet. Ha! Thank you.
I also found a braided line with a black ground looking connector on it. Haven't located the spot for it, but the car is up and running great with no leaks. Pain in the butt to change these things out. The old gaskets were hard as a rock.

The braided line should be the flexible ground for the exhaust sytem. I have a pic of it saved somewhere in my G35 album, it plugs in right below the MAF sensor, I'll try to dig up that photo.
