My best guess of what it is is a base model car, but the dealer decided to swap the LSD into it, throw a spoiler on it, and give the "sport coupe" manual to the original owner, and the owner advertised it as a "sport coupe" car, cause he thought it was one. That sound about right?

Your latest statements describe a car that does not have the performance wheel and tire package. I'm assuming you think you have the LSD because of your statement about not being able to turn one wheel while the other was held, but are you sure the parking brake wasn't enabled? I think it's highly unlikely a dealer swapped in an LSD, especially considering other upgrades that would have been more easily swapped first (wheels).

I still have the brochure from when I ordered my '04 (in Sept. of 2003). Here's a snippet from it showing the options list.

It's also possible/likely that a previous owner picked up a VLSD and swapped it in themselves since it only costs like $500 and a couple hours of time.

Sports cars are much more likely to be modified by owners.
