Step 1: Find the leak

Step 2: Fix the leak

I can relate. I had a small valve cover gasket leak. I changed the gaskets and it was worse after and I felt that super defeated feeling as it took several hours start to finish and the car is lowered so my back was wrecked after bending over it all day. Took it to a garage to get it sorted. First time I've had to pay somebody to work on the car in a long time. The water pump looks like a tougher job to do so having more problems after all that work sucks. Maybe take it to a shop and see what they say. Might not be a big deal for somebody with experience to deal with.

Water pump on the DE is pretty straightforward since there is a removable cover on the timing chain cover. HR engine... you're pulling the entire cover.

unfortunately taking it to a shop isn't something I can do right now . My g35 has been parked for almost a year now .it was literally one thing after another last year I have put so much time and money into it I can't afford to get rid of it ..but then seems like I can't afford to keep it anymore either.im.sure it's something as simple as a loose connection or warn out clamp . I have been reading and watching any related videos trying to figure it out .I'm pretty good at diagnosising engine problems but my girl brain just won't grasp anything transmission related. It seems like the whole thing differs from car to car...I see a video where the lines connected to the radiator have fittings with the clips. Then I see others that are just the hose clamped to the lines . Also seems like the in and out lines very cause mine aren't where I have seen them on other cars . I guess I'm just asking for a lil direction cause I'm way past lost at this point
