new oil leak

123k miles 07x
Got an oil change at Infiniti and noticed a spot on the driveway, I figured it was spill over from the oil change. It's been 5 days and its still doing it. So I'm wondering if there is a common place these engines leak from. Any ideas or suggestions

Worth a shot, but have you checked to see if the drain plug was tightened correctly? It's not uncommon for them to not torque it down, or worse, stack some of the crush washers.

if they didnt replace the crush washer and torque it down correctly to spec, it will leak. if its leaking from anywhere other than the plug hole there will be oil residue all down the pan. let us know.

It's also possible that if they didn't drop the whole belly pan (used the trap door) and made a big mess on top of it when they removed the filter, then it could take quite a while for all that spilled oil to drip down. Whenever I change my oil and filter, I am ridiculously **** about wiping any spillage or smearing of oil in the area so that if oil should ever appear later, I can trace it directly back to the source; this includes the belly pan. If there's old oil smeared all over, it's way harder to trace it.
