I get the clutch vibration at high RPMs, too, in my '05 coupe. That's pretty much in gears 1,2,3,4 for me (I haven't had the chance to rev that high in 5th and 6th), but I don't have the grinding you describe.

yup, I have an 05 6mt sedan.. Whenever I rev above 4k and step on the clutch to shift... there is definitely a very loud grumble sound (kinda like grrmmm) - not normal, doesn't sound good. I've driven an 04 coupe but it doesn't have the same issue.

Re: 4000+rpm

I have a 05 coupe 6mt and I KNOW exactly what you are talking about. I posted a thread about this with subject "...5krpm" or something and everyone said it's normal. Yea, if you let it ride above 5,000rpm it sounds like a grinding whurring noise and the clutch vibrates a lot. Every1 said it's normal. However, I should let the dealer check it out just for the hell of it. But I don't have freaking time since I leave from work so freaking late. You going to have the dealer check out yours? If you do, let me know the results!

well... i've gone to the dealer. the tech drove it.. said he's never driven an 05, so he was gonna do that and get back to me. i called them back probably 5times, each time telling me he would call me back and never did. gave up after that. Let me know if anyone checks it out at the dealer.

yeah above 4k rpms or so , the clutch sounds grindy and makes my feet numb! this is normal for 05's...

i think they took the vibration out of the stick and put it in the clutch...

I have heard of some people complaining about this so when I was driving around, I tested it. Granted I don't drive around with my foot constantly on the clutch but when I do put my foot on the clutch and shift at high rpms, I feel no more vibration than any of my other cars that I have owned.
