Question Sedan Struts Problems / Sport Pkg

Question Everyone,

My '03 Sedan has less than 21k miles on it. It has the sport pkg. My car has been to the dealership for 4 times in less than 2 months. My car has been to the dealership for more than 26 times about things that never go away.

The dealership has replaced both upper control arms @ 18,744 miles. That was the 1st time they messed with it. Now, I am to the point where I will not allow anyone to ride in my car. The faster you drive it, the more loose it becomes. I'm afraid to drive it on the expressway. Even more so going around courves on the freeways. Its that loose. Also, the struts are always ratteling on smooth OR bumpy streets.

Does anyone have this problem with their sedan? Also, I have filled a Lemon Law on my vehicle. Do not get me wrong, I do love the Gs but, not the one I drive. Also, the dealership does not think my sedan has a problem.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks

Stephen

I also have an '03 sedan that had the sport suspension. I had over 20k miles on it before I installed aftermarket coilovers. I never had a problem with the stock suspension in that time.

My advice to you would be to A) try a different dealership or B) take it to an independent suspension shop for a second opinion.

Also, try giving Infiniti Consumer Affairs a call to complain about your experience. I know some people bag on them but they really helped me out when my engine failed.

GOOD LUCK!

skeleton_cru,

I've called Infiniti Corp several times. They do not seem to care. I have also advised them that I've been in very serious car wreck in '01 causing me to have brain damage for the rest of my life. From what I can tell, they just do not care.

I really think the dealership have placed a regular G parts on my sedan vs the sports pkg items. My car has never driven as loose as its doing now. Both of my doctors and State Farm wish for me to dispose of this particular model. That is why I've already filed a Lemon Law on my VIN. Again, I've had this VIN since mid December 2001. It does not even have 21k miles on it.
