High Hp??

Hey guys, i was thinking about doing the vortech...but im just not sure i wanan spend the money at this time.....what mods can i do that will raise my hp substantially without wasting money....i know liike exhasut and headers and high flow cats would do me good...but what other things could i do to raise the hp ?? Thanks

there are many post about this but in a nutshell, plenum (or spacers), Z tube (not much)....etc, if you want to know more just look below this thread and under modification reviews.

You can easily spend $2500 in bolt ons and only see a 20whp increase. Save up another $3000 and get a ST for $5500 installed and you will see 130whp increase.

ST = Single Turbo
TT = twin Turbo

I agree. If you spend about $2,000 on a cat-back exhaust (like Stillen, Borla, or HKS) and a CAI or Z-tube/pop-charger combo, you'll only get about 20 BHP, but at the wheels it'll be like 12 or so.

You're best bet is to look into forced induction for big power increases. Although the little things like the exhaust, intake, pulley, etc do add up!
