I am planning on putting on the Ztube with the k&N filter and perferable wouldl ike to find it locally save on shipping. If anyone that has this filter installed can get me the part number or the size of the filter, LEnght and width (at both ends) I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Rbull, I just did a search for that part number on K&N website but that is for the stock airbox replacement. I am looking for the part number for the K&N cone filter or the measurements of a cone filter being used on the G. Thanks

 

To the best of my knowledge, all conical air filters require an adapter to "bolt up" to the MAF Sensor. Stillen and JWT incorporate a velocity ring into their design that serves this function.

Their approximate air filter dimensions are:

Stillen ---- JWT
Filter to velocity ring opening = 6.000" --- 6.000"
Overall air filter length = 6.000" --- 5.750"
Cone diameter - large end = 7.4375" --- 7.635"
Cone diameter - small end = 5.000" --- 5.250"
