I ordered the NISMO CAI for my G35 Coupe, I'm still waiting for it to arive... 235 bux shipped and comes standard with a Bypass Valve .... not too bed i think.

Yeah i def want the bypass valve just in case, we get some pretty nasty puddles down here in South Florida and sometimes theres no way around driving through them, unless you want to have a friend w. a higher car come pick you up :-p. I say better safe then sorry.

I cant wait to get this intake though .... Ive owned the car for alittle over a week and this thing is a dream come true, i just cant stay out of it.

 

That was my thoughts exactly. Some of the underpasses on the way to my girlfriend's house can become flooded if the rain is substantial enough. Better to pay the 50 bucks and take the 5 minutes to install the bypass then have to pay for new engine due to hydrolock.

 

I did get around to taking some new pics of the car last week, along with the bypass valve (sorry, but the engine cover is kinda dirty...)

 

whats bypass valve and heating shield(?)
dont they come in standard when you purchase intake?
