Thumbs up

GReddy,

How are your heads and pipes working? I just did my Megans (I got through you) a few days ago. Install was a BEEotch. The only thing I don't like is the rasp around 3k rpm. Other than that I can feel the power increase. I need to get to a dyno to check my A/F and gains. I think I would go for a TS reflash next.

Everything is working well.

Never heard of DG headers, so I can't comment.

Guys,

I had the Alphawerks headers installed a few months ago. I'm really happy with the performance and sound. I got a great deal from Paul at Avalon Racing. A local muffler shop (Chino, CA) did the install for $275 and it took them 5 1/2 hours. They said next time they can do it in around 4 1/2 for the same price. If anyone in So. Calif. is interested - let me know.

How hard are these things to install? do you have to brace the motor and remove motor mounts for all brands of headers like you do w/ Crawford? I am looking into some NISMO ones.... let me know...

I didn't have to touch and motor mounts, I think you only have to do that with Crawford.

I was thinking about DC, Stillen, and et al. myself. What are you guys take on all the headers? There are so many (many as in more then 4) that is is looking hard to choose. Is it just price and name?
