I still have not seen anyone go over 300whp in N/A form. The closet was 295whp on a Z. He had all the bolt ons plus cams and a relfash.

Read his quote again.....he never claimed that it would get you over 300hp at the wheels. He was refering to the crank.

300 HP at the crank? Well, usually a good cat-back (HKS or Stillen - at about 13-15 HP) and an AEM or Injen CAI (around 5-7 HP)will get you there.
Now at the wheels, thats a different story entirely. You got around 238 at the wheels on stock. Best bet is to orced induction. Yeah, it expensive, but I'm quite certain there are units (like the Vortech and Stillen Stage 2 SC) that are affordable and you won't have to upgrade the engine internals.

Good luck!

If you have a 6MT you'll easily hang with a stock STi or Evo above 50mph. Red light line-ups we will not win, but but on my highway commute I rolled with a few stock STi's at 50 and pulled on them both times pretty nicely up to 120.

I have JWT pop-charger, Z-tube and plenum spacer, that's all. Their drivetrain loss is much higher than ours, and their crappy aerodyanics hinder highway acceleration above 60 or so.

Try it...you'll be surprised.
