Re: Brake Booster Cover
Juicedcoup,
I went to Home Deopt this weekend and bought a sheet of lexan for
$11. Cut it with my Dremel tool and painted it black. It looks great!
Thanks for the idea. The hardest part was getting a good outline
of the part to cut. Took forever with cardboard, so I wnt to OfficeMax
and bought some poster board for $0.80 apiece. This worked better.
I used a tile cutting head for the Dremel tool. This did not work very
well, so I switched to a cutting wheel. Went thru 4-5 cutting wheels
and cut it cleanly. My outline is not perfect, so I may redo it with
another $11 lexan sheet. This car looks so much better with the hood
up. When I showed it to my wife, she thought I was crazy to be doing
it and working up a sweat in my garage. I'm in Houston and It is
HOT. I'm happy with it, so forget the wife!!!!
God I love this car!
