Question torque specs for calipers?

I'm planning on painting my calipers black next week and want to remove them to do so.
Does anybody know the torque specs for the bolts on the calipers?

According to my experience and the service manual;

Front caliper mounting bolts (22mm) - 17-22 ft-lbs
Rear caliper mounting bolts (19mm) - 28-36 ft-lbs
(These bolts were very tight on my car - glued in at the factory?)

Brakeline to caliper "Banjo" bolts - 13-14 ft-lbs

Don't forget my work in progress DIY! :D

Haha! Shameless self promoting!

Click here to see it. . .DaveO is right (about everything. . .for the most part ) and the diagram with torques is posted in that post too.

I painted my calipers too. . .did you get G2 caliper paint? You can see my final results here.

Drewer - Thanks a LOT!! That DIY is going to be a great resource. I haven't picked up my paint yet, but the appearance of your brakes makes me think that G2 is the way to go. Looks quite tight!

A few more questions for you, if you don't mind. I'm planning on removing the entire caliper to paint it. When I put everything back together, do I need to treat my used pads with PDC or can I just put them back? I just had the pads and rotors changed out yesterday during my 30k service, so no need to replace.

Also, you changed out your lines too, right? Got any advice about disconnecting the brake lines?

Yeah, the G2 worked really well. . .and is an epoxy "paint" rather than a true paint. It dries with a nice thick film instead of soaking into the iron.

The grease'll just help them not squeak. If they are really new, and the shims (there are shims, right?) aren't all bent outa shape, it shouldn't matter.

Yeah. . .when you disconnect the stock rubber hose at the hardpoint inside the wheelwell, have a cup/bucket ready to catch the residual fluid that is bound to leak out. Then cap the hardline off to prevent all your fluid from leaking out. The stoptech kit I got came with rubber caps. Lastly, when you finally finish swapping out the lines, there'll be a lot of air in the system, so bleed it good! Hit me up if you have any more q's. . . I think I'm going to throw together the caliper paint/brake line DIY "first draft" real quick here. . .
