actually.. it depends on what you wanna be doing.
you can "downgrade" from a 3.5 to a 2.6.. but what are you going to be gaining?
rb26's can withstand significant power anything unheard from what the vq35 motors can do.
keeping in mind youre going to be going with stock internals.. regardless stock internals or not whether you go built internals for the rb or built internals for the vq the rb will still be more "reliable" for power.
highly doubt that a lot of the necessities will be accessable with the rb though like: ac, abs, yada yada lol so if you wanna go "strict" drift..drag..or whatever else, and dont mind spending 12grand for a motor and labor then go for it.. but if not then stick with the vq
