Almost Killed GAS MAN!!!
Re: Almost Killed GAS MAN!!!
So one of those bozo's scratched your car? I would just make it a habit of getting out of the car, watching them like a hawk, and B*tch slapping the sob if he did anything I didn't like. Surely he'd get an arm bar and broken teeth for scratching my ride.
Re: Almost Killed GAS MAN!!!
Well I got ride of all the gas today and now filled it with GOLD 93 octane!! I got out of my car and explained what I wanted how much I wanted and how to pump gas the proper way with my G :P
Re: Almost Killed GAS MAN!!!
remember watching a news program on TV (20/20, or dateline or something), it featureed the gas fire at gas stations, happened many times across the country, it's caused by static electricity from your car to your body and ignites the gas fume when you pump the gas, specially during winter.
we all experienced getting shocked by static when we open door, the static will accumulate in driver's body and transmit to the gas gun if the driver pump the gas themself. the worst case, when gas fume ignited, people get panic and pull the nozzle out of tank, the fire will catch the gas flow from nozzle and spreads out. IT'S SCARY scence. make sure if you pump the gas youself, do not touch the metal part of the gun.
For our G drivers, cut the plastic string attached to gas cap, 9 out of 10 gas man will not put the cap in the holder if they see the cap attaced to the gas tank, the tangaling cap will scratch the paint.

Re: Almost Killed GAS MAN!!!
Wreck, When I was visiting my cousin in Portland, Oregon I found out when I tried to fill my own gas that they do not allow it there. I had to let some idiot gas attendant do it for me. She said it was the law there. THAT SUX!

Re: Almost Killed GAS MAN!!!
Although I would like to pump my own gas, I enjoy the fact that NJ gas prices are one of the lowest in the country. If we got rid of "full service" maybe they would go down even more?

"I had to cut the lil plastic wire that went from car to gas"
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo big MISTAKE...
There are reason's that little platic wire is there... It works as a GROUND... Sheesh, some people have been known to get there service light becuase their is a sensor right by there after they thought it didn't look cool and cut it off...
You should go to Infiniti and get that ground right back on your gas cap A.S.A.P. !!!
