Intake installed right?? anyone else do the same thing i did?

acouple of days ago i got my Nismo intake, me and my friend installed it, but 2 pieces didnt go on, they where the center piece( elbow shape) and the bypass valve

we got everything else to fit good, but is there something that i did wrong?? or is everything the way it should be? if anyone has the same intake let me know please

its never a good thing when u have parts left over, try to take some better pics and take some pics of the parts u didnt install. u r gonna need that bypass valve to keep from water goin to ur engine in case u go thru a puddle of water

unless you drive through flooded streets with water up to your headlights the bypass valve won't do anything for you.

The only leftover piece I had after the install was one of those rubber connectors. The rubber connector is used in place of the bypass valve. It's not absolutly neccessary, but I'd put it on anyways. That elbow piece should have helped you place the filter behind the bumper. PM me if you have more questions, I could take some pics.
