Porterfield Brake Pads

Hey guys, got some good news that was unbeknownst to me. Porterfield makes R4 race brake pads and R4S street pads for the 350Z platform, Brembo and Standard. That means we too can use these awesome race or street pads for the G35 unless I am wrong here. For those of you that don't know about Porterfield pads I invite you to look here.

http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/pads.html

They are very excellent pads, although a bit pricey, but are worth every penny. I personally know many DSM'ers have had great success with these pads on track days, especially the R4 race ones. I emailed the company and they said they did indeed have these pads and would get back to me with a quote.

"We currently have them do you have the 350 with the brembo brakes or the
standard model and I will get you a quote?

Thank You,
Wendy

platform in the near future? I would be very interested in purchasing a
pair of the R4E pads for track days. Thanks.

Also there was once a group buy on these pads on my350z.com. There is specs and pricing info there.

I'm bumping this since I am also very interested in the Porterfield R4S pads for my brembos.

I'm sure some here is using them. How is the noise and dust on these? How is the initial bite?

I had R4S on my stocks b4 I went BBK. Their pretty good, no dust. Not much initial bite. Needs to be warmed up alittle. I'm using them on my truck with 33s works perfectly.
