Skunk 2 Plenum Spacer

Anyone have any information on skunk 2 plenum spacer? How does compare with Motordyne's spacer? I saw it on Performance Nissans website.

Thanks!

I have One of the first Prototypes, they Dynoed 10 extra BHP on their Dyno My plenum spacer is 5/8" Thick by the Butt Dyno the Car Jumps when you stomp on the Gas. Only Problem is you can't use the Infiniti Factory Engine cover. Too Tall and will rub on the bottom of the Hood. I can recommend it. Look for me at The Chino Hills Meets or any of the other meets around LA. Oh Yeah I'm always at the Bay area Meets also.....

Thumbs up

I love Sunk 2 and I will probably buy this spacer. I have read the threads, "will a spacer help if I have a stock exhast?" The material that the Skunk 2 spacer is made of will decrease intake temps so I would assume that it would help performance (and engine life) no matter how much flow you have out the back.

As a side note, my friend (the lucky bastard just got an '05 M3) had an '01 Integra Type R and he dyno'd 9 extra HP out of his car after he added the Skunk 2 intake manifold. He got his work done at Bullish Motor Racing in Hackensack (yes the same Bullish with the Street Glow Solara) and they were suprised when they got the dyno results that they couldn't get 11HP out of the thing (they were plugging away at his V-AFC for about 15mins). They recommended the mod as the next thing that he should do (he walked in with intake-exhuast-got VAFC installed that visit). If they recommend Skunk 2 then I would go with them every time. In the end Bullish got him 179 to the wheels with just a DC Sports intake, Skunk 2 manifold, VAFC and Apex'i exhaust - what an awesome shop.

Just my $0.02

Congrats on the purchase man! Def. post some pics after you put it on. I might do that spacer before I do my z-tube

Here is my engine order thus far => KN drop in (order next week if I don't go drinking tomorrow night) => Skunk 2 spacer => Z-tube(or unlimited tuning carbon fiber one)

Can't wait to see your DIY with pics, dyno and lap times

You can get one from Perofrmance Nissan and they are $205.50+SH "This spacer is made from a special carbon composite material which helps with the standard heat soak issues common in metal intake manifolds." I love it
