is that the cf z-tube from UT?......is that mini red filter connected to the tube where the pvc normally connects too on the ztube?....thought i saw pics of it connected there?

open up you hood and look at your g-tube. Their is a rubber hose that connects to it. CF tube doesn't have an inlet to make the connection. You stick that thing in as a substitute.

By using that instead of running a tube between the CF tube and the manifold, it prevents warm are from the engine from entering the intake. But it also eliminates any vacume under the valve cover. Bottom line is your don't need the tube, and you don't want dirt getting in your valve cover and you can't plug it.
