Ok now i know this is gonna be the most newbiest question you ever heard, but if you could just answer the question, then i will be thankful, after that you can start the newb bashing.
I was wondering if the injen cold air intake for a manual transmission would fit on a automatic transmission? If not is there anyway to make it fit. thanks

According to Injens website (www.injen.com) the automatic and the manual have different part numbers. From the pics, the MAF appears to be in different locations. The Injen website IS open and availible to the general public.
Juno, if you want help on this forum you should 1. Quit being lazy and at least check out the manufacturers website before you ask general questions about a product and 2. Ask your question in a manner that doesn't beg people to make fun of you, flame you, and blow you off completely.
Hope this helps you,

In all actually i wasnt begging, yes it seemed like i was begging, but i thought it sounded more sincere then begging. Having people respond was what i was trying to do, and with the title, please dont laugh, and acting like a complete newb majority of the people were bound to respond. I want to first thank you for the info, but where you are all wrong is the lazy part. I believe i deserve an apology. Why, because you dont know who i am. All you know is that i am a newb, or think i am.... well just letting you know, yes i did search, and yes i did ask around. but because of my location and my connection it is a little bit hard and slow, more like slower then dial-up, and comp crashes alot. Why you wonder? it was 1am over here when i posted, i had just came back from a f*-uped stroll on the streets of baghdad, patrolling, and looking for (fill in the blank) ive been up for over 24 hours, that about all the info i can give you, oh and yes i am in the U.S Military, so im not the enemy. After crashing about 50 billion times and not wanting to waste my phone card minutes on a call about a car part, i thought i could get a better response on this forum. (which i did) but you where the only one who thought you were some bad a** trying to school some newb ( excuse my french ) with the 1. ........ and 2. .........., with all that said flame you, and blow you off completely.

Its a proven fact that on these forums if ask a well thought out question you will get much better results. You are in a tough situation? You should have said that in your first post! Example:
TITLE: Simple Injen Intake compatitibility question
THREAD: Hey guys, I have an auto G35 and I'm looking to buy an Injen cold air intake from a 6mt. I'm out of the country right now and can't investigate fitment issues, does anyone know off the top of thier heads if I should expect problems? [/example]
You would have easily have gotten 5 solid repsonses and NO flaming.
Stay safe out there....
enough bickering
to answer the question. The intake will fit with some pushing and moving. I haven't done it so i couldn't tell you, but some people have had problems with the car just shutting off. So you might want to look into that issue. The two intakes do have different part numbers, and the MAF sits in different places.
Also if you have the intake piping for a MT , I have a MT but got the piping for a AT. Wanna do a straight switch of piping?

I have gotten my Ijen CAI from a MT and I have a 2005 AT
it fit on fine, may not be exactly as was intended but I have not had any problems in the last few weeks since putting it on.
