While G35driver was down I stumbled into the 350z forums.....
This guy boasts about 60.6WHP gains with NA modifications......is this possible for our G's as well....ur thoughts are more than welcome. Below is the link:

Slightly skeptical but I guess it's possible. The problem is that he never did his own baseline and doesn't seem to know a whole bunch about tuning himself. The tuner *could have* changed a few parameters on the dyno just to make it spit out higher numbers to make the guy happy. I hope this wouldn't happen but it is possible.
I'd wait until the cams are defined and a few others follow this set up before I went and dropped that kind of money on NA mods.

although i have to agree that w/o valid baseline dyno and one after all his mods were done that i am skeptical on the gains....this other guy 'alberto' on that same forum ran a 13.13 @ 107 with all bolt ons, NO headers NO cams....
thats pretty damn impressive...

His mods are JWT Pop-charger, Crawford Plenum, Test-pipes, Crank Pulley, Injen Exhaust, Technosquare ECU, and most importantly....SLICKS. A 5000rpm launch in a 3100lb car with 260whp can result in a 13.1@107mph. His 60 foots are low 1.9s and high 1.8s. That's why his ET is so good. I've been preaching this for nearly a year, a G35 6MT is more than capable of 13.4-13.6 with slicks and minimal bolt-ons. The problem is most G owners couldn't fathom the idea of buying a $400 set of slicks and wheels for drag racing. Any car capable of 98mph in the 1/4 mile, is more than capable of 13.8s with a 1.9 60 foot. Alberto also runs at Atco and his best passes were in the cool spring air. Atco is a pretty fast track and he admits it. Regardless, you run what you run. This is the same track where a stock 350Z auto pulled a 13.6@101mph with a 1.9 60 foot (street tires).
This is SOOOO true. When I had my Mustang, it was purely a drag crowd and the things they did to improve 1/4mi times wouldn't necessarily be considered street friendly. Hell, some of them pulled the engine belt off completely so that no accessories would be running and thus gave them the most hp to the wheels possible. Other tricks like icing down the intake, running shorter slicks, taking out seats and other accessories greatly improved 1/4mi times.
So just because our cars don't normally run 13s doesn't mean that it can't. We're just not willing to go to the extremes that others are doing to get that ET.

Slicks will make all the difference in the world.
If a 205whp/195wtq 2,700lb 95-97 Maxima 5MTs on slicks can do 13.4-13.5@102mph, there's no doubt in my mind that a 250whp/245wtq 3,100 G35 6MT sedan could do a 13.3-13.4. It's just a matter of if someone is willing to go to the lengths to do it. Don't say it can't be done.
No one will remember that the car was set up for the track, what they'll remember is that a NA G35 sedan went 13.3s@104mph.

That's really significant. Then factor in about 20whp/wtq in simple bolt-ons and you've taken a 6MT sedan from a power to weight ratio (not including drive) of ~14.5:1 to a ~12.5:1.
