CAI/Z-tube clarification

Just for clarification ...

If you opt for a CAI by whatever company, does it automatically eliminate the Z-tube installation? Meaning do you have to remove the Z-tube regardless?

if you are buying a cold air intake you do NOT need to buy a z-tube.. a z-tube simply replaces the stock tube with the 350z tube.

a cold air will replace the whole intake from throttlebody on

Well that's nice to know. I just wasted money on the Z-tube. Serves me right for not asking before I bought it and put it in.

nothing is wrong with just having a z-tube, since it is better than the stock g intake tube.....you could add a JWT popcharger or Stillen intake filter to have a short-ram CAI....
