Oh, trust me, I totally agree though that the 05's were worth getting. They offered me a really good deal (well, it was like $500 over invoice) on an 04 but I was like, "Nope, I don't really care for the Brembo's. I know they are good, but I won't really need them and if I do, I'll get some other ones. I especially don't like Gold color on them!". So, to make a long story short, I ended up with the 05. It took me two months to get it (I didn't want anything on it but settled for the sunroof and splash guard). I really wanted the Lakeshore Slate with Wheat but it was no where to be found (at least not in the 6MTCoupe). Now, I do like the DG and probably as much as I liked the LS. Anywho, I'm excited and can't wait to see this new Mod! If it is less than $500 for all this extra goodies, I'll be stoked!

Anyways, I got to drive 80 miles today with the new mod. The ECU is finally adjusting and the car is ugly fast. I mean its really actually scaring me sometimes . I haven't felt a car this strong since my 99 TransAM 6mt. I mean, 1st gear is useless now, I just spin the tires on a roll or a stop.

If I downshift, I am GONE, I mean it pulls ugly. I can't wait till I get it dynoed again in about a week~.

It sounds like it's going to be some time before they make any official announcements.

This better not be all bark and no bite. I will still plan on going FI, but I won't rush into it if I can use this mod to satisfy my power needs for the time being. Under 500 bucks and a basic bolt-on. I gotta see this.

For any of the 05'ers out there looking to get this mod.
Before you get this done:

Pay special attention to how your car handled itself in certain situations.
Off the line, downshifting into certain gears, and especially the turns.
You'll lose your rear end much more easily with the added tq.

Yeah, tell me about it! I haven't done one mod and the only thing I got so far the the Apex'i Grounding Kit, and I haven't installed that yet since it didn't come with instructions on locations on the car but I think I have some idead where to start. So, for $500 bucks, bolt on, and will give me noticable gain AND actual driving performance. Yeah, I gotta see this to believe it.

AND? hehe. Isn't that the fun part of all this? I am almost certain that anyone doing this mod is already aware of the potential "fun factor*

This is a lot of power for a spacer. I'm in on it for sure when it's released! Let's hope the hype is true.

Ok, the suspense is killing me along with everyone else with an 05 6MT. The descriptions are very enticing. And I really appreciate the dyno sheets. HOWEVER... has anyone actually gone to the 1/4 track? Does anyone that's "beta-testing" this thing have before-mod 1/4 timeslips to compare against( meaning no other changes to the car )? Or is posting such times against an NDA?
