VDC Help

I've recently run into a serious issue with my 04 6MT Coupe. When on a long swooping right hand corner (like a freeway exit) & the VDC on, my left front tire seizes up and the slip light comes on. This doesn't just occur while driving aggresivley either. When I took it to the dealership, they noticed my aftermarket alarm w/remote start was wired into the ECU (102 for PnP switch) and have since denied to even look at my car. I even offered to pay out of pocket to just find out why. They've systematically denied every attempt I've made to get them to look into this. I'm currently setting up mediation to help resolve the issue but my chances seem bleek at the moment.

With all that being said, I'd like to disable the VDC entirely. From my understanding, there are just two fuses to remve to accomplish this. Does anyone have any specific info on how to completely disable the VDC or maybe some specific info on my prob?

Thanks in advance.

Come on guys. I know someone here knows how to disable the VDC. This is ever more crucial. You have no idea how thrilling it can be to have your left front tire seize on you in the middle of a hard right. LOL

Don't bother with the fuses. One doesn't do enough, and the other disables the ABS as well. Best option I have found is to open the center console and disconnect the Bosh yaw sensor. You still have full ABS, none of the other stuff. Your dash lights will come on indicating that things are not working right, the slip, vdc lights. If you have Nav. it will tell you to see your dealer immediately.

I do this for every autocross. Just plug it back in when you are done. The error codes all disappear.

That's good information. Would you have a picture of where the thing is located?

this may have nothing to do with your problem but...I had my VDC freak out last month because of a tire pressure issue. Waaaay too much in one can throw it off. Just thought you might want to check.

Yea... that was the first thing I checked. Also replaced the wheel speed sensor on said tire just to cover all the bases. No luck.

The yaw/g sensor was easy to unplug. Just pop the plastic around the shift **** up, remove the shft ****, set aside plastic. No need to unplug cig light or hazard light wiring. Unscrew the four screws holding the plastic center console on... lift the back end up. The sensor is a large black component just behind the shift lever & has "Bosh" printed right on it. Unplug the only harness going into the sensor & reassemble the console.

I'll let you know if this solves the issue. Thanks for the suggestion none the less.
