Question about CF intake systems w/respect to material

I have been doing some heavy reading on the various intake systems and even those there were made from smaller companies to replace the original tube in the G.

There was one concern for the cheaper mom/pop tubes being made of PVC which emits harmful gasses when heated. I was wondering if Carbon Fiber would suffer this same issue. I own a CF intake currently, so this is why I ask. I also am unfamiliar with the material the oem z-bube uses but I am sure nissan wouldnt have a product on their oem vehicles that was causing harm.

Has anyone who owns/owned a CF intake system had it on for a while and taken it off? any visual issues?

I am not trying to destroy the rep of the manufacturers, just a customer concern.

I would think that it would have a lot to do with the stability of the resins that the CF is embedded in. If you stick with a major manufacturer, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd also make sure that it had the PVC "breather" nipple incorporated into it, rather than the small external breather filter attached to the hose that some manufacturers do. It may be okay when the engine is new, but i think that over time, especially as the engine ages, you're going to get a lot of blow-by that's going to be an issue if it's not re-directed into the intake stream.

I'm watching this one, as I also have the CF intake tube that I haven't installed yet.
