PROBLEMS with Coupe, infiniti repair sux
Hi, I have a G35 Coupe AT fully loaded. I went back to my dealer for the 7500 mile check up and I also brought a few complaints. I was wondering if anybody else had these problems.
1. Buzzing/Rattling from rear view mirror when on bumpy roads or playing low freq. music (doesn't even have to be loud, 15 will make it buzz)
2. Buzzing/Rattling from driver's side inner door handle when on bumpy roads but using with low freq. music, doesn't have to be too loud to cause it to rattle.
3. Light sensor for headlights not very accurate. I live in Los Angeles and it is still bright at 7 pm. Sometimes, the headlights will be on around that time and the instrument lights inside will be l dimmed, so I can't see the instrument lights that well. When I switch the setting from auto to off to auto, the headlights are off and the inside lights go back bright. This only happens when it's not super sunny (noon, afternoon) outside.
4. Ratting from center console. I think its the cigarette container thing. I took out the inside part and it doesn't seem to rattle anymore, but I'm not sure if this is a great solution to a problem. Should I have them fix it?
They said they tried to fix the mirror and door handle, but it still rattles. I told them this and they said, "it's normal, especially with music". That's bullshit right? Also, they changed the "brake switch", but after this, my ABS, SLIP, and VDC indicators always come on while I'm driving. When they do, i notice the brakes are applied slightly, even whem i'm not pressing them. Also, i don't have to press the pedal as hard to make a full stop, but ABS activates very easily.
I'm going again next week, but do some of these problems seem stupid, or i should shout at them to fix it. ThanX

Heard similar story about the brake switch repair causing
slip & vdc light to be on constantly. This is an Infiniti screw up.
As for the ratles, search the forum for the door rattle fix.
I followed the instructions to the letter and have no door rattles
any more. Infiniti does not know how to fix this, but WE do.
The fix is very easy, don't be afraid to take your doors apart.
It is easier than you think.

Re: PROBLEMS with Coupe, infiniti repair sux
I've seen posts where people have taken their's in for ratle noise, and got it fixed. I would't take the door apart to fix it, that's what the warranty and a loaner car is for .

Yea, but the dealer dos not know how to fix the rattles.
I took mine in for a rattle fix. Did not fix it. I did it myself
and I could see that the dealer has no idea how to fix
it. It was quite easy to fix with instructions from this forum!
