Time for Service

Hello,
I bought my G 03 auto from a private person. He didnt abuse the car as i could tell by the looks of the car. Everything is in great shape!
the car has 90KM on to it, and i think its time for service. I'm planing to take it to my uncle's garage and he will do what ever it needs. But just for for headsup, Could you tell me what will need to change in this service? i'm a newb as i'm 18 and its my first car. For fluids or etc whats the recommended fluids for our G?
The car is sitting in the garage but i'll be taking it out when winter passes by.

Thanks,
manbir

Congrats on the ride! I wish I could have had a G35 as my first car!

Check in the Owners Manual for the recommended service items for your car. There is an on-line manual available as well.

If you haven't already done so, give it an oil change. If the previous owner has the service records, see what he's already done. Good idea to do the brake fluid at least.

Many will also change the differential fluid.

Do not use anything other than the Nissan AT fluid if you need to change it! Call your Nissan/Infiniti dealership and see if they do a tranny flush rather than a simple drain and change.

Hey Gordgee,
Thanks for taking some time and replying bak to my thread. I got the car checked by the dealer and this is whats recommended now. Everything is pricie so i'm not sure if i will get it done by the dealer. Maybe u guys could tell me what would be worth to get it done by the dealer.

1) 96000km/Cuaint or Cuaiwt.. I cant make if thats a W or a N. ( $400)
2) Brake/coolant flush ($160)
3) Tran Fluid ($95)
4) Rear Diff Fluid ($95)
5) 1 Air Filter ($48)
6) 1 cabin Filter ($118)

What do you guys suggest i should do?
Really confused cuz it seems like its going to cost me around $1200. (canaidian Price)

Now i remember last time i drove the car, after pushing the car to 100km from 0-100kms, i smelled burning oil after i stoped. Can this be the reason regarding the fluids which needs to be changed?

thanks,
Manbir

So, I'm assuming you're in Canada? Where abouts?

I'm not sure what a "96000km/Cuaint or Cuaiwt" is. Maybe inspections and such. Sounds pricey!

If you're reasonably handy, you or your uncle should be able to do most everything else, except for the tranny flush.

You could change the air filter over to a K&N panel rather than go with the OEM.

The In-Cabin filter isn't that hard to change yourself, and if you're interested in a 'better than OEM in everyway" Activated Carbon filter for less, PM me.

Are you sure that was burning oil you smelt? If you push your car, often what you'll get is a sulpher smell from the exhaust.

Hey,
I'm from Toronto, Pm send.
Regarding the burning oil, i'm pretty sure that was it. since it was 3 months ago, there's no way of me finding out because the car is stored in for the winter. One more thing i wanted to ask, since all this stuff needs to be changed, could it have its negative affects on the car's performance? So Soon as i decide to take the car out i will get this stuff done asap.

THanks,
Manbir
