Cam shafts?
Anyone here have any experience with camshafts for the G? They are all pretty pricey, I was just wondering if its worth it. Also I'll be going FI within the next 3-4 months. Thanks
I have the Nismo cams and valve springs on my Vorteched G35 . I couldnt tell you about them for N/A set up . As I had them put on after the SC .The vacuum will drop and you'll have a idle problem . There are several fixes [ not really fixes ] You can raise the idle , drill a 1/16 hole in the throttle plate , And T off the vacuum line on the TB and run it to crank case breather hose .I would sugest getting te strongest valve springs you can get . You will be able to rev higher

Thanks, I am also going with the Vortech. What other mods do you have that compliment your SC? See Im trying to get everything I need (and want
) before May. So far besides my intake, exhaust, plenum spacer, headers, the only other thing I can think of are cams (not to crazy about going with test pipes). Then once I get the SC installed, I'll get a VB upgrade. Anything I'm missing?
